Sonoma-Napa Wine Tour (All Day)


We will pick you up at your hotel in one of our comfortable vans. Best Bay Area Tours’ “All Day Sonoma-Napa Wine Tour” will then take you from San Francisco across the Golden Gate Bridge, past the Marin Headlands, and then continue on our drive to Sonoma and Napa Valley’s wine regions. Your knowledgeable tour guide will educate you about California’s wine country, including the history of the wine industry in California, the geography of the region, how wine is made, and why this area is so perfect for growing grapes and producing wine. Your knowledgeable guide will also help you with suggestions on how to transport your wine purchases home and where the best wine values might be.

We will visit at least five wineries that will be different in size, styles of wines produced, and atmosphere. This will give you a varied experience. On this tour you may have an opportunity to help in deciding which wineries we visit. So if you have a favorite winery we will do our best to include it on this tour. There are over 650 wineries in Northern California's wine regions, so we have lots to choose from. Depending on the time of the year, we may also have an opportunity to observe the process of making wine.This tour may visit the various regions in Sonoma and Napa such as Rutherford, St. Helena, Yountville and Los Carneros. Who knows, we may even have a chance to do some olive oil and mustard tasting along the way. Olive oil production is second only to wine making in Sonoma and Napa. On this wine tour there are some wineries that have complimentary tastings and some that may have tasting fees.

On our way back to San Francisco we will make a stop at the Golden Gate Bridge for some wonderful picture taking and beautiful scenery. So come along with us and enjoy the day experiencing some of the best wines and scenery California's famous wine regions of Sonoma and Napa have to offer.

Sonoma Napa All-Day Wine Tour Schedule

8:00- 8:45 Pick-up at your San Francisco hotel.
8:45 - 10:00 Drive across the Golden Gate Bridge, through Sausalito and then up to the Napa Valley and a day full of beautiful vistas and wonderful wines.
10:00 - 12:00 Visit some wonderful wineries in Napa.
12:00 - 12:45 Drive to the Sonoma Valley and the quaint town of Sonoma, California.
12:45 - 1:45 Spend an hour in Sonoma having a wonderful lunch.
1:45 - 3:45 Visit some of Sonoma’s finest wineries.
3:45 - 5:00 Drive back to San Francisco with a stop at the Golden Gate Bridge for a wonderful photo stop.
5:00 - 5:30 Return to your hotel.

We will, however, do everything we can to get you on another tour at no additional charge if time and availability permits.
